Mentorship

Anchor QEA is committed to providing mentoring to WMBE firms to increase their capacity and business acumen.

Anchor QEA Mentorship Goals:

  • Provide developmental assistance to WMBE subconsultants
  • Maximize small business access and exposure to project owners
  • Foster long-term business relationships
  • Enhance small businesses core capabilities
  • Increase subcontracting opportunities

Mentoring can include the following areas:

  • Management or technical assistance
  • Overall business management/planning
  • Business and/or financial management
  • Business development
  • Contracting and administrative support
  • Helping small firms to build strategic partnerships with large and experienced firms
  • Providing opportunities to enhance the protégé’s technical capabilities or infrastructure
  • Creating a mechanism for technology transfer from mentor to protégé
